Job description:

  • Perform and manage statutory audit assignments
  • Support seniors in planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements
  • Prepare of statutory financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
  • Prepare working paper and audit schedules in accordance with Singapore Standards on Auditing and Audit Manual for Small Companies
  • Perform physical stocktake
  • Prepare unaudited financial statements
  • Perform tax computations and tax returns for corporate
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree, ACCA, Diploma or equivalent in Accountancy
  • Knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles (Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Knowledge of Singapore Corporate Income Taxation
  • Positive working attitude, proactive, meticulous, committed and able to work in a fast paced environment to meet tight deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work as a team member as well as independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Prior working experience in the audit field will be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Mandarin for effective communication in cases of Chinese speaking clients will be advantageous

Job description:

  • Perform and manage statutory audit assignments and special audit engagements
  • Lead client audit engagements, which include planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits
  • Identifies and communicates issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk
  • Evaluate the client’s internal controls
  • Develops audit procedures relevant to risk and test objectives
  • Ensures audit conclusions are well-documented and are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risk
  • Ensures compliance to applicable Financial Reporting Framework, Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore Standards on Auditing and professional standards
  • Review working papers for accuracy and completion, financial statements for suitability of presentation and adequacy of disclosures, tax computation, and documentation of discussions with clients
  • Reviewing clients’ corporate tax returns and advising clients on resolutions of tax issues with the tax authority
  • Supervise junior auditors assigned to engagements providing guidance and overall review of deliverables
  • Perform physical stocktake
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant external audit experience in a public accounting firm
  • Knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles (Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Knowledge of Singapore Corporate Income Taxation
  • Independent and team player with strong analytical, project management and time management skills
  • Possess leadership quality
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English
  • Strong technical and problem solving skills
  • Positive working attitude, proactive, meticulous, committed and able to work in a fast paced environment to meet tight deadlines

Requirements:

  • Degree or professional qualifications in accountancy
  • CA (Singapore) qualification or equivalent
  • At least 6 years of relevant external audit experience in a public accounting firm
  • Knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, auditing standards and accounting principles (Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Knowledge of Singapore Corporate Income Taxation
  • Strong technical skills and industry specific knowledge in their areas of responsibilities
  • Independent and team player with strong analytical, project management and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Possess good initiative and be resourceful
  • Leadership quality, coaching, communication and interpersonal skills requirements
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English, including good report writing skills
  • Proficiency in Mandarin for effective communication in cases of Chinese speaking clients will be advantageous
